The mission of the De Pere Health Department is to prevent disease and promote the health of its residents to be accomplished by communicable disease control activities and a variety of educational services. The Health Department serves as the regulatory agency for public swimming pools, hotels and motels, school food service programs, recreational/education camps, tattoo and body piercing establishments, food service establishments, temporary events, retail food and vending machine operations.
